Hi Berin (others are welcome to answer too),
On the machine minotaur here is what I have done:
1) Put files on current release location
=============================================================================
A) Created these directories for the current versions files:
/www/www.apache.org/dist/xml/xalan-j/
/www/www.apache.org/dist/xml/xalan-j/source
/www/www.apache.org/dist/xml/xalan-j/binaries
B) From /www/xml.apache.org/xalan-j/dist (also on minotaur) I copied the
2_5_1 source and binary files into the ./source and ./binaries directories
respectively.
C) In the ./xalan-j directory I created symbolic links to all files in
./xalan-j/binaries and ./xalan-j/source to make it look like they were one
directory up, but the links loose the version invormation and have replaced
_2_5_1- with -current-. For example ./xalan-j/xalan-j-current--bin.zip
points to ./xalan-j/binaries/xalan-j_2_5_1-bin.zip
D) In the ./xalan-j directory I got the KEYS file from the cvs server
cvs.apache.org (I checked out xalan-j/KEYS.txt and renamed it to KEYS).
-------------------------------------------------------
I like your http://xml.apache.org/mirrors.cgi page. Could you please add
xalan-j to it so I can test it out?
Is this page going to be an official page that our project can point too
(sure hope so!).
Assuming that we can point to it, when is the official date that we can
point to it (ready for prime time!).
Any similar page for old archives? I've set up something similar for
/www/archive.apach.org/dist/xml/xalan-j/
Thanks,
Brian Minchau
