Leaving aside the fact that I personally don't see this proposal as a natural fit for the XML project, it will most likely not be the right project to target because it's barely alive. XML was split up after being too much of an umbrella. That had some negative effect on the remains. I suggest you take this to the Incubator and find support there because the existing Ajax community there will likely be more of a supporter than the XML project can be. Good luck!
