Right.  I use IPython for debugging.  So, just comment out those
lines of code.  Or, better yet, download the new version (1.14g),
in which I *did* remember to remove that debugging code and which
also contains a fix.

Sigh. I really do try to take that out before uploading.  Maybe I
need a checklist.

Having said that, if you do any reasonable amount of Python
programming, it's worth your time to install IPython and try out
the ipython interactive prompt.
