I'm looking into it. Give me a day or two. I'm hoping I can prevent the exception, even if the code generated for restriction/simpleType/list is not all we want it to be. Once I've gotten that far, we can talk about what the generated code really should do. By the way, what does a list mean in this context? Is it just a string containing words (NCNames in the spec) separated by spaces? I looked at the XML Schema spec, and that seems to be the intent. This: http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-0/#ListDt seems to be saying that <xsd:list itemType="BPELVariableName"/> defines a string containing names separated by white space. Am right about that? Thanks for pointing out this problem, by the way.
