So, I updated to generateDS version 1.17a which is posted on http://www.rexx.com/~dkuhlman/generateDS.html and shortly there after noticed that my XML generated from the python that generateDS created was very broken. What I'm seeing is that for complex elements instead of the generated XML having the contents of the element rather it is saving a reference to the object instead of the data.
I went back to version 1.16e and things are fine again. I'm guessing I'm not the only one who has seen this.
