I previously said that I would try to have a new version out a few days after I returned home from traveling. It's been more than a few days, so this is just to say that I am still working on it.
This work seems to be going well, although there are a few more problems than I expected. I hope to have a new version that you can try sometime next week. This new version generates code that uses lxml or ElementTree as the underlying parser instead of minidom.
