Hey Dave. You are fantastic. I really appreciate your help. Is strange to
see people collaborative like you. Helping a strange boy from a strange
place of the planet.
I'll let you know a little more from me. As I said, I'm Maxi from
Argentina. I'm a java developer since at least 8 years ago. I was working
with java here in my job, but for requirement of our partner, the whole
team is moving to python (I started to learn python last year, so I happy
:D). So, we are really beginners.
Now, some info about why I needed your help. Basically, what we need to do
is "read" the entire pptx file, lead the entire info into objects in
memory, an then use that info to write an XML (owned by our partner). Due
to this app runs over google app engine, we have some limitations about the
libraries we can use. For that reason, we have to make all "by hand".
Now.... why I want to split the script. Well... first of all, because debug
or read a code file of 80000 code lines will be VERYYY HARD!!. second: we
are using pycharm... and I tried to use another object model (generated
with pyxb) that also have files of 60000-70000 code lines, and the GUI
couldn't lead the files in memory, so it can't interpret. So I lose the
auto complete and all those stuffs. In my head, is more easy with hundreds
of small files instead of just one of thousands of lines.
After all this, I just have to say thank you so much for your help. I have
also to say sorry, because I requested your help, but I didn't inspect the
code. I have to see all. I really don't know what I have. If I have
marshalers? If I can "throw" a file into the generated code and I'll have
all the model on memory?( I don't lose the hope... I'll continue dreaming
:D :D :D :P). So, sorry for that. To require your effort without check in
the generated stuffs works for me.
