I have made a start at a database implementation based upon the "Accessing Relational Databases" pattern in "Pattern Languages of Program Design 3". I have also roled in the "Serialiser" pattern to enable database independance. I have a skeleton implementation (without a ViewCache at present) that sort of works. I have used postgres as a starting point, but adding Berkely DB or GEDCOM should be a matter of just rewritting once Class (the Reader/Writer). SourceForge is not letting me login at the moment so I can't upload anything. I am off for Xmas now so it will have to wait until the New Year. Merry Xmas to you all.
