Hi all, I've uploaded my lex/yacc parser for gedcom to the subdirectory gedcom. Have a look and see what you think about it.
I'm going to write some explanation of it (where would be the best place to put that?), but for now, you can make a test run via (in the gedcom directory): make make test Normally, all files should be parsed successfully. It's a complete parser (for ASCII, ANSEL, ANSI and UNICODE character sets), but it is not integrated with the rest of genes yet. That will now be the major issue to solve. Ideally, the parser could be split off in a separate library, and work together with applications via callbacks (and a C++ wrapper for them). If you have ideas, don't hesitate to experiment. Cheers, Peter. -- =================================================================== Peter Verthez Software engineer Email at work: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] at home: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] WWW: http://gallery.uunet.be/Peter.Verthez =================================================================== _______________________________________________ Genes-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/genes-devel
