Hello Graig,
Yes, I should make a file which describe the working features of genes,
but let me try make a short list here:

*Should* be working:
- loading a gedcom file
- seeing the list of persons in the main-window
- selection and viewing of a person from the mainwindow
- navigation in the main window from one person to the father, mother,
spouse, children

 in Person window:
 Filled in tab-windows are:
   + General
   + Families
   + Events
   + Attributes
-viewing another person from Person window
-viewing an event from the Person window
- ...

Adding/updating information to genes is *not* working
(I am going to do this, and because of that adding a person
is working a little bit)

Import is indeed not working yet: you have to use "Open"
Maybe you can try to test with the gedcom file that is included
in the packet: royal.ged

=> does this works ? then try to do this with your .ged file and
check the output in the textfield of the Load window for possible
errors...

Good luck,

Geert
