Well, coincidentally, I just set it up the other week between my Amiga and Linux box. 
Works great!

Yeah, that's what I thought.  Very odd, and an oversight on the part of the Genesis 
doumenters.

However, I happened to have an old version of AmiTCP lying around (4.0demo) and that 
had the NFS docs with it.  Download it from somewhere or I can send you the 
AmigaGuide file if you want.

Indeed so. Basically you set up a file AmiTCP:/db/ch_nfstab which details the 
filesystems you want to mount and the servers they're mounted from.  Then you run 
ch_nfsmount volume: which mounts it.
