I don't recall that being asked before, so no apology necessary.
Before you go any further, take a look at Portal Opening2.
It's an internet server like BO but with password protected entry. It
allows all Amigados operations across the net and has a chat facility
built-in.
It is very simple to set up in Genesis. The only difficulty is that
the client has to know that server's IP address. We used ICQ to
establish that before connecting PO2.
