anyone knows an easy way to query present connections ?

   I think thisshould be  possible  through  AmiTCP's  ARexx  port,  since
NetStat  does  something  like  this. But I'd need some way to actuylly
query the amount of data transmitted. This might be impossible,  since,
I  guess,  I  do  not  know much about TCP/IP, AmiTCP does not know the
amount of data before it was transferred,  that  is  the  higher  level
applications task (such as browser, ftp client).

   Reason I'm asking is that I'd like  to  shedule  some  CRON  events  to
download files when traffic is low. So, while not downloading anything  or
just  a  small  amount  of  data, the sheduled downloadmanager would start
updating several files.
