Hi, in hope that some of the authors read it I would like to request a feature: I have bearable Internet costs as long I manage to connect to the net once a day. Internet is damn expensive here where I live, but I pay for the phone call only up to 5 minutes, anything longer (even 10 hours nonstop hanging online !) does not cause more costs. However, if I get the line dropped I have to redial, making the counter count up to five minutes again and so on and on. I crash usually three to four times while being online. My modem (Acer 56K Memory Modem) is an office modem and can keep the connection even if the computer resets. Miami can store some nonvolatile information so the next time you would like to go online it just reuses the existing connection. With GENESiS this is not possible. Also, I think it should send a modem-hang up, if the PAP Auth fails. It thinks that it is off-hook but is not. I use the NetConnect2 GENESiS.
