City name............
|__record with no lieu-dit
|__(lieu-dit) record with lieu-dit
This global modification would allow for removal of all "unknown" for
lieux-dits.
Another wished modification :
when entering (forcing) X and Y cordinates for a city in the "modification"
window it would be neat to have a combo box for format (2 possibles formats :
decimal and ° ' "") to enter data in the proposed fields as many wikis
propose a format like this :
LAT : 45 N 35' 17""
LONG : 10 W 22' 56"
for the cordinates of the city
If not mistaken you go from second format to first one like this :
LAT cordinate as above used as example :
LAT decimal = (signe : + if N - if S) (45 + (22' + 17"/ 90) /90)
The decimal . could also be language sensitive ("," for French people) ; very
likely Java can link this to the chosen language.
Regards.
