Hello,

There are some ways to group tracks together under a common header, but it
would require setting up a mirror and following the instructions for making
what is called a composite track. I am guessing that you do not want to this,
but please correct me if you do and I can provide links to help/instructions.

To use custom tracks and the UCSC browser, you can try organizing into
Sessions. Each is still separate but it can be grouped smaller and put away
when you don't want to see all of it. To really group the data in a custom
track you will need to group the input and use the name or score or whatever
variable is appropriate for your data to distinguish between types. This could
be potentially done programatically and even dynamically on your side if you
have programming resource, we do not have tools for this. I am not sure what
data format you are using, so I'll give you a link to all types. Most have at
least one option for adding a variable that can be used to designate a
particular data set. Be sure to follow all formatting rules for the best
results.

I hope this helps to get you started, but be sure to let us know if you need
more guidance,
