Hello,

We have developed a database containing mouse indel polymorphisms identified
in inbred laboratory strains A/J, DBA/2J, 129S1/SvImJ and 129X1/SvJ. The
data currently can be viewed graphically as a custom track on the UCSC
browser, available at http://transposon.abcc.ncifcrf.gov/indel and via a
GBrowse-based viewer at http://polybrowse.abcc.ncifcrf.gov/. The former
provides the data both on mm8 and mm9 mouse reference genomes. We would like
to provide these data to UCSC for general display as a track on the public
mouse browsers. I think our data would fit well into your ³Variation and
Repeats² section which currently has tracks for SNPs, simple repeats and
microsatellites. We also plan to add extensive new information from many
other unsequenced mouse strains including wild strains in the near future.
Please let my colleagues and me know how to proceed. thanks, David Symer
