Hello, The main genomic sequence is the same for 36.1 and 36.3. Meaning = no conversion is needed. The dbSNP30 database is already a track for our Human March 2006 (hg18) NCBI 36.3 genome.
The next release, for the 37.1 genome (hg19) has not yet been released. Perhaps this coordinate information will help, since NCBI and UCSC use different coordinate systems: http://genomewiki.ucsc.edu/index.php/Coordinate_Transforms If this does not help, please provide more detail, Thanks, Jennifer ------------------------------------------------ Jennifer Jackson UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group ----- "Yvonne Edwards" <[email protected]> wrote: > From: "Yvonne Edwards" <[email protected]> > To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> > Sent: Monday, September 28, 2009 4:00:08 PM GMT -08:00 US/Canada Pacific > Subject: [Genome] dbSNP 130 coordinates from 36.3 to 36.1 human assemblies > > Hi, > > > We have data for dbSNP 130 using assembly build 36.3 down loaded from > dbSNP > We would like to use the annotations from dbSNP 130 but using > coordinates from build 36.1 > > Can you provide any links to conversion tools for this? > Do you have any tools available, > > Many Thanks, > Yvonne > > > _______________________________________________ > Genome maillist - [email protected] > https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome _______________________________________________ Genome maillist - [email protected] https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome
