Hello,

You are correct, there is no UCSC Genes (aka Known Genes) track for the dog
genome. We do not have any current plans to create one. The best alternatives
are to use the other Gene and Gene Prediction tracks (including Human Proteins
for discovery - using dog Est or mRna data as supporting evidence).

This particular track is very complicated and has a special processing path. It
would be extremely difficult to duplicate.

Thanks,
Jennifer
