Hello, For large datasets, the data format bigWig would be a better choice.
Help page with links: http://genomewiki.ucsc.edu/index.php/Selecting_a_graphing_track_data_format Hopefully this works for your project, Jennifer ps. Next time, it would be best to not send large files/attachments directly to the mailing list. Most types are screened anyway, so the information is not posted to the archives. As a better alternative, instead include just a few example lines in your email or ask the moderator for help first, then organize with them for how to best accomplish large file transfers if they are necessary (host files for ftp, share a saved Session, or similar). --------------------------------- Jennifer Jackson UCSC Genome Informatics Group http://genome.ucsc.edu/ On 4/3/10 2:32 PM, Brennan, Jennafer wrote: > Hello. > > I am a new user of the UCSC Genome Browser and am trying to make a > WIG file from a pile-up file created by Galaxy.
