Hi Richard,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. If you could answer a few
questions for us, that would help us try to reproduce the error you are seeing.
Can you tell us when this problem began? Is it still happening for you? If so,
it always happening with a custom track?

Subject: [Genome] mysqlrr as hguser ERROR -

hgTracks is returning this error often and, apparently randomly ...
this appears to be a recent glitch in the genome browser.

Error(s):

    * Couldn't connect to database hg19 on mysqlrr as hguser.
      Can't connect to MySQL server on 'mysqlrr' (99)

Sample URL returning this error
http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTracks?insideX=115&revCmplDisp=0&hgsid=161537376&hgt_doJsCommand=&hgt.out3=10x&position=chrM%3A244-7843&hgtgroup_user_close=0&hgtgroup_map_close=0&hgtgroup_phenDis_close=1&hgtgroup_genes_close=0&hgtgroup_rna_close=0&hgtgroup_expression_close=0&hgtgroup_regulation_close=0&hgtgroup_compGeno_close=0&hgtgroup_neandertal_close=0&hgtgroup_varRep_close=0&hgtgroup_encodeGenes_close=1&hgtgroup_encodeTxLevels_close=1&hgtgroup_encodeChip_close=1&hgtgroup_encodeChrom_close=1&hgtgroup_encodeCompAndVar_close=1

Hg18 is the "focus" (as selected by picking hg18 earlier on the "frontpage" or
whatever it si) not hg19.
