Hello Gilbert,

One option is to use a custom track BED file with one line of data per 
exon. Please see this section of the custom track help page for details: 
http://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/hgTracksHelp.html#BED

As described in the help, for grey-scale, use the "score" field and for 
colors, use the custom track line attribute itemRgb.

Normalizing the current expression values into the the grey scale range 
(0-1000) or into specific colors is something that you will need to do.
