Hello, since recently I my firefox (3.6.8 and erllier versions) under linux (RedHat Enterprise 5.3) does not display the png images generated for the genomic views in ucsc genome browser anymore. Colleagues of mine have the same problem. The image is sent to the browser (it's not a broken image tag), one can click into the image and access the links of the image map and even save the png (and view it with any kind of image viewer). However, the image itself in FF is dispalyed as a white and empty frame only.
I found a related posting in a mozilla forum, but the problem still seems not solved: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=1777805&start=0 The problem, seems independent on FF version but seems specific to linux. Emptying caches, revoking the profile (ff safe mode), deleting the .mozilla and even re-installing ff (incl. a fresh profile) does not solve the problem. Has anybody using ucsc genome browser come across this problem, too? kind regards, Arne _______________________________________________ Genome maillist - [email protected] https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome
