Dear all, I have some doubts about chromosome sizes in available genomes. Just as example chromosome 1 of mouse (mm9) is 197195432 bp long... twoBitInfo on mm9.2bit says the same:
chr1 197195432 On the otherside, the fasta file available in downloads sections (chr1.fa.gz) is 201011362 characters long.
