Hello again,

If you are only getting one gene, perhaps there are unintentional
filters in your Table browser session. Please do these two things to
extract all the data from a particular table using the Table browser:

1) On the Table browser's main form, bottom of first html block, find
this sentence and click to reset all parameters to the default "To reset
all user cart settings (including custom tracks), click here."

2) Next, start your query again from the beginning. When you get to
"region:" set to "genome" for the complete table (all chromosomes), or
select "position" and type in a chromosome using our format. For "output
file:" specify a name and it will download to your computer.
example chromosome name format:
chr1
chr2
chr3
....

Or, once you have identified the table name associated with the track
you want gene information from, navigate our downloads area to determine
the path to the file (the html path is the same as the unix directory
path). Download to a PC by clicking on the file name (ok for small
files, not recommended for large files). To ftp the complete file, open
a connection, cd to the file following the path you determined by
navigating the downloads area, and use "get" to retrieve the file.

To understand what the data columns represent for any table/file
downloaded (Table browser, Downloads area, or ftp), use the Table
browser. Set up the variables to the target table and click on the "View
table schema" button.

More help: (please note that the track "Known Genes" has been renamed to
be "UCSC Genes" but the tables names are the same.
