Hello,

The Table browser can extract sequence based on gene name from tracks in 
the group = Gene and Gene Predictions.  Example tracks are UCSC Genes 
and RefSeq Genes. Set region = genomic. Paste or upload the list of IDs 
into the filter "identifiers". After setting output = sequence and 
submitting, one of the options is to limit output to the (estimated) 
promoter region. Be sure to name the output file and download as .gzip 
for large datasets.
