HI, As a good news in the community, new assembly for the zebrafish genome (Zv8) has been released recently, which has been expected to improve the current assembly a lot. As we checked, it indeed helps a lot in reducing the assembly error.
http://www.sanger.ac.uk/Projects/D_rerio/ It would be appreciated if you could launch the new data in UCSC genome browser, esp. the chain/net alignment. Or, you might already have started the analysis. If so, could you please let me know when it will be available? Actually I am asking here on behalf of several other collaborators as well. Thanks.
