Dear Madam, Sir,

I am working at INRA academic research institute in France and I would
need to use the liftover tool to get about 20,000 genome positions from
Btau3 to Btau4. I have downloaded the tool for my computer:
"liftOver.linux.i386" But, I have no clue on how to use it. I simply tried:

$ liftOver.linux.i386

and the message was:

bash: liftOver.linux.i386: command not found

Could you please tell me how to use the executable?

Also, I wanted to try the online Liftover at:
http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgLiftOver

But, I cannot convert from Cow btau3 to Cow Btau4.

Could you please help me?

Thank you very much in advance.

Sabrina.
