Hi Lalitha,

The gene prediction tracks are updated as follows:

RefSeq Genes are updated the most often. See our FAQ for detailed
information:
http://genome.ucsc.edu/FAQ/FAQreleases#release6

Ensembl Genes are updated for every assembly on the same schedule as
Ensembl updates them, which ends up being about every 2-3 months.

UCSC Genes are updated for human, mouse and rat with each initial
assembly release and then human is updated about once every 9 months
until a new human assembly is released.

The update frequency for the other types of track really varies by
track. Please check our Release Log at
http://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/releaseLog.html for information on new
releases and updates of all of our tracks and assemblies.

Please don't hesitate to contact the mail list again if you require
further assistance.
