Hi Irina, Though it is not explicitly written anywhere, the UCSC Genome Browser focuses primarily on vertebrate genomes. In the middle of our left hand navigation bar, we have a link to Todd Lowe's microbial genome browser (http://microbes.ucsc.edu/). You may be able to find the species you are looking for there.
