Dear Chris, Please see this previously answered mailing list question: https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/pipermail/genome/2009-June/019261.html
Please note that in this step: filter: click the "create" button; next to "repClass" select "does", type "RNA" in the field & click "submit" Please type "rRNA" instead of "RNA" and also select "output format: GTF" I hope that this helps. If you have further questions, please contact the mailing list. Hi UCSC genome browser's team, I have a quick question: Do you know if it exist a FIELD in the databases tables that represent the type of RNA molecule such as rRNA (for ribosomal), mRNA, tRNA, ssRNA, siRNA, etc.? To probably understand my question better, you should know I am trying to create a GTF file capturing "only" the coordinates of all the Known Ribosomal Genes. If you may help me getting it using UCSC tables browser, that would be great. Thanks In Advance, Regards, - Chris ############## _______________________________________________ Genome maillist - [email protected] https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome _______________________________________________ Genome maillist - [email protected] https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome
