Hi Stephan, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The bug is now fixed on our test server: http://genome-test.cse.ucsc.edu, and we anticipate that the fix will be out on the main site next week. If you want to use genome-test in the meantime, please be aware that there is a lot of experimental and untested data there.
Please let us know if you have any further problems or questions by emailing [email protected]. -- Brooke Rhead UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group > Subject: BED detail format > From: Stephan Struckmann <[email protected]> > Date: Thu, 4 Nov 2010 11:48:59 +0100 > To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> > > > Hello, > > I've recently found, that UCSC genome browser provided a new BED detail format to have more control on what happens, if the user clicks an annotation box in such a custom track. My data contains score and strand information. This is obviously parsed correct (the data shows up on the details page, if I click my annotations), but it is obviously not used for the glyph. In classic BED format, the score can be used to have a color gradient for the annotation boxes (useScore=1 in the track line) and the strand information is shown as ">>>>>>" or "<<<<<<" inside the boxes. Is or will that supported by UCSC? > > Thanks and Greetings, > > Stephan > > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Stephan Struckmann > IBIMA Universitätsklinikum Rostock > [email protected] _______________________________________________ Genome maillist - [email protected] https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome
