Hi Stephen, In short, no. The method you are currently using is how we suggest you programmatically fetch just the hgTracks image.

Ideally I would like to specify a session name, chromosome name, chromosome start and chromosome stop to define the region and tracks I wanted to download. I have written a script which parses a UCSC html page and downloads the png, but this requires two trips (one to read the page and another to download the png). Is there a more official way of doing this? Thanks for any advice, Steve _______________________________________________ Genome maillist - [email protected] https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome _______________________________________________ Genome maillist - [email protected] https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome
