Hi Seon-Young,

Jim Kent (the creator of BLAT) does not recommend running a 64-bit
version. He says:

"There's very little advantage to 64 bit actually. It uses substantially
more memory and does not go any faster, or work on bigger databases. It
comes from the index design being built around 32 bit, and to change
this would go deeper than a recompile."

Therefore, we recommend sticking with the OSX 32-bit binaries, which are
available here:
http://genome-test.cse.ucsc.edu/~kent/exe/

I hope this is helpful. If you have further questions, please feel free
to contact us again at [email protected].
