Hello,
We are attempting to augment our search tool within our website to map to
concepts found within our mirror of the Genome Browser. The search tool will
allow our users to execute queries containing gene names (IRF6) or concepts
(cleft palate). The following cgi URL allows me to execute this query against
the browser:

http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTracks?clade=mammal&org=Human&db=hg19&position=cleft&hgt.suggest=&pix=800&Submit=submit

Where the search term in this case is 'cleft'. I noticed that I needed to
specify the organism and assembly as part of the cgi parameters. Is there some
way to leave these blank? In most cases our users will be looking for human
data, in other cases they may be starting with mouse, zebrafish, etc.

Thanks,
Chuck Borromeo
