Dear Madam/Sir, I am currently in the process of publishing a computational survey that compares several search methods. Among other test data, I use a subset of random sequences extracted from the human genome (available for download from your website: http://hgdownload.cse.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/hg19/bigZips/). According to your guidelines, this data is freely available for public use.
I wonder if you permit to upload the dataset obtained from the human genome to the site of the ACM Journal of Experimental Algorithmics. This data will be available for download for subscribers of the ACM. Please note that it is not a full genome, but rather a collection of random subsequences. I have to obtain the permission to comply with the request of the Copyright Department of the Journal of Experimental Algorithmics. It is Ok to give a permission by e-mail. Please, specify the person who would authorize this upload. Thank you very much in advance! Kind regards, Leonid Boytsov _______________________________________________ Genome maillist - [email protected] https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome
