Hi,

To find out what type of machine you have, you can follow the
instructions on the instructions in the directory containing the
liftover executables:

"...\To determine your machine type, at the command line type:

uname -a

When you type "liftOver" on the command line, make sure the letter "O"
in the command is capitalized. Also, make sure you have permission to
execute the file. Type "ls -l" to see the permissions of the liftOver
file. To add permission to execute type "chmod u+x liftOver".

I hope this information is helpful. Please don't hesitate to contact the
mail list again if you have any further questions.
