Hi Ashwin,

If the original file format is 0-based, and it is converted to a bed format it
will remain 0-based. Please see this previously answered question to help
clarify when to expect 0-based start coordinates vs. 1-based start coordinates:

Hope this helps! Please contact the mailing list if you have further questions.

Subject: [Genome] zero based vs one based

Hi i would like to know when any file which has format of zero based is
converted to.bed format does it change the format or remain as original
file. For Eg: i have .code files which are zero based and want to convert to
.bed format in order to run liftover program.

thanks
Vish
