Good Morning Kim: Please do *not* submit a wiggle track with multiple different span parameters. That will really mess up your display.
You can use bedGraph data for both examples you have submitted this morning. You need to specify type=bedGraph on your track definition line. However, if you want individual data points at single bases, the most efficient data format would be variableStep, you don't need to specify a span since it is set to 1 by default. To avoid long transfer times of immense amounts of data, pick up the big* conversion commands and convert your data to bigWig format. That would be the best format in all cases. http://hgdownload.cse.ucsc.edu/admin/exe/ You may be interested in this discussion: http://genomewiki.ucsc.edu/index.php/Selecting_a_graphing_track_data_format Please read the documentation about these track types: http://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/bedgraph.html http://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/wiggle.html http://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/bigWig.html --Hiram Jiwoong Kim wrote: > I'm applying my data in bedGraph format into the genome browser. > ========= > chr1 1 100 30 > chr1 101 150 0 > chr1 151 160 50 > chr1 161 162 49 > chr1 163 165 48 > .... > ========= > By default, I can see the data shown as separated bars, each of which > represents continuous base positions with a certain depth. > By the way, about the depth, the graph displays it as a number, and the > height of the graph is just used to make bars distinguished. > I would like to edit this so that I want to see it as a sort of histogram > with binwidth=1bp.
