I think I can tell you exactly where your error is. On the 4th screenshot, right after the words: button: filter create the screenshot consists of options for creating a filter on the STS Markers track. You need to make a change to what is entered in the Free-form query box. Right now it says: %D%MIT% change it to say: qName like "%D%MIT%" (exactly like that, with the quotes and everything).
