Hello,

I have been using the UCSC browser to visualise some BigWig files. The data
tracks display fine, but there seems to be a problem with changing the
scale. In the configure track function, I normally change the scale by
altering the vertical viewing range as required and selecting it in the data
view scaling box below. Today when I've tried this, the track defaults
itself to a maximum value. I have tried this with different tracks (each
track seems to have a different maximum value) but the same thing happens.
So I'm stuck with either autoscaling or this default maximum.

I have asked our resident bioinformatician for help and he has tried to
change the settings within the files themselves, but to no avail, and I know
another member of our lab has also come across this problem today. I have
tried removing and reuploading the tracks and we have also tested within
Firefox and IE to ensure it wasn't a browser issue.

Please can you help?

Many thanks,

Kelly
