Hi Kenneth,

Yes, this automatic change in visibility happens with many tracks when 
there are too many items or lines of items to display 
efficiently/effectively. There is a setting that you can use with many 
track types called maxItem, the value of which is the maximum number of 
lines used, except with bigBed display (I'm not sure what track type 
you're using) rather than the maximum number of lines, it sets the max 
number of items that will display in anything other than dense mode. In 
full modes, the number of lines and the number of items is the same. 
Also note, that trying to display too many items at once will slow down 
the browser's display to a point that it is very difficult to use.
