Dear UCSC team, I made a session which can be shared with others, and which contains some custom tracks. What I want to do is to programatically (from my own Perl script) a list of hyperlinks which when clicked take the user to that session at a specific genomic location.
For example, I am generating a long list (Tab-separated textfile) with many transcripts of interest, one gene one line, and several files containing information on that transcript like coordinates, IDs, annotation etc. One field should contain an URL, when entered into the browser UCSC should show that transcript/region with the session configuration which I prepared for that purpose. Is this possible? Could you please let me know how to construct the URL? I guess I need some long URL and need to insert the coordinates at some positions in the string, but would need the details.
