Hi Yuan,

The NR is part of the refSeq identifier and it is given to non-coding
transcripts including structural RNAs, transcribed pseudogenes, and
others.

To find out more about refSeq Identifiers:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/RefSeq/key.html#accessions

The table schema for this track has the information about the the fields:

http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTables?db=hg19&hgta_group=genes&hgta_track=refGene&hgta_table=refGene&hgta_doSchema=describe+table+schema

I hope this helps clarify things for you. If you have further
questions, please contact the mailing list.

Dear UCSC,

Thank you for the information. I have some other questions as I go
over the list.

1. What does "NR" stand for here? ('name DOES match' field type: NR_*)

2. What is the gene name(refseq) for each lncRNA? Is it name2?

Thank you.

Yuan
