Hi Eric,

Do you have the "base position" track turned off?

If so, the current version of the browser has this error when the base position
is turned off. This problem will be fixed in the next release, but for now, you
have to turn on the base position track to prevent this error.

Subject: [Genome] Google Chrome and UCSC genome browser

Hello All -

Has anyone else experienced issues with the UCSC genome browser and the
latest version of Google Chrome (15.0.874.106 m)? Specifically, I can type
in genomic coordinates and pull up the browser no problem but if I try and
zoom in/out or pan left/right I get the warning message, "Couldn't parse
out new image for id: ruler (click to hide)" and the proper screen never
loads, even after hitting refresh.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Eric
