Hi Yuanpeng, Our Table Browser tool provides a feature to view table column descriptions as well as relationships between tables. Make the following selections from the Table Browser (http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTables):
clade: Mammal genome: Human assembly: hg19 group: Genes and Gene Prediction Tracks track: UCSC Genes table: knownToKeggEntrez Click on the "decscribe table schema" button to view column descriptions for this table, as well as a list of connected tables and joining fields. You'll notice that knownToKeggEntrez is connected to keggPathway via knownToKeggEntrez.value. I hope this information is useful and answers your question. Please contact us again at [email protected] if you have any additional questions. --- Luvina Guruvadoo UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group On 1/9/2012 2:14 AM, Yuanpeng Zhou wrote: > Dear UCSC: > > Can you tell me the difference between keggPathway and knownToKeggEntrez? > > Why there are two tables associated with KEGG cross reference? > > Thank you very much! > > Yours sincerely > > Yuanpeng Zhou > _______________________________________________ > Genome maillist - [email protected] > https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome _______________________________________________ Genome maillist - [email protected] https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome
