Hi Promita, I noticed you are using our test server (http://hgdownload-test.cse.ucsc.edu) to download phyloP scores. Please note that our test server contains a lot of experimental and untested data, and this may be why you are noticing these discrepancies; the data displayed on our public browser may not match what's on our test site. Our public downloads site is located here: http://hgdownload.cse.ucsc.edu/downloads.html.
Please contact us again at [email protected] if you have any further questions. --- Luvina Guruvadoo UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group On 3/29/2012 12:29 PM, Bose, Promita wrote: > To whom this may concern > > Currently I am using the following website > http://hgdownload-test.cse.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/hg19/phyloP46way/placentalMammals/ > > to download the phylop scores. > > When I use the UCSC browser to compare the values, I notice a few > discrepancies. > Attached are a few examples for positions on chr X > > Please can you explain the reason for this difference in phylop scores > > sincerely > Promita > > ________________________________ > > This e-mail message (including any attachments) is for the sole use of > the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged > information.
