I have problems accessing the UCSC mysql database. I'm trying to retrieve data from dbsnp135 track in several genomic regions simultaneously.I think the problem is related to the many connections i used at the same time while testing my script.
After some successful runs using the batchUCSC.pl by Heng Li (http://lh3lh3.users.sourceforge.net/ucsc-mysql.shtml) ) I got this error message: DBI connect('hg19:genome-mysql.cse.ucsc.edu:3306','genomep',...) failed: Host 'biblio-diagnosticagenetica.dac.unifi.it' is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts' at /usr/local/bin/batchUCSC.pl line 35 Can't call method "prepare" on an undefined value at /usr/local/bin/batchUCSC.pl line 51. Can you help me in some way? Looking forward for your kind reply.
