Hi, I have downloaded an example BAM file (and the corresponding .bai file) from: genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/examples/ into: http://yoavg1.tau.ac.il/bamExample.bam
However, when I use 'add custom track' as follows: track type=bam name="My BAM" bigDataUrl= http://yoavg1.tau.ac.il/bamExample.bam I get an error message: Can't access My BAM's bigDataUrl http://yoavg1.tau.ac.il/bamExample.bamand/or the associated index file http://yoavg1.tau.ac.il/bamExample.bam.bai: TCP non-blocking connect() to yoavg1.tau.ac.il timed-out in select() after 10000 milliseconds - Cancelling! As far as I know yoavg1.tau.ac.il is web-accessible (I have contacted it from different locations inside my home country) What can be the problem?
