Hi,

When I looked up a particular gene in the browser, it gives me a unique alignID
(unique identifier for each known gene, alignment position pair) and a link to
its protein sequence in fasta format. I would really want to look up protein
sequences using unique alignIDs for genome-scale datasets. So I was looking
for such a .fasta file that contains all the protein sequences for each alignID
(hg19 in specific). However, I could not find such a protein database to
download. Could you please tell me how to retrieve such a database?

Thanks,
Evan
